Working with my own hand-dyed fabrics, I piece, appliqué, and embellish with paint, beads, and markers. These works are either 3 layered quilts or framed pieces stabilized with interfacing for framing.

I have been teaching hand-dying since 2005 and am available for group and individual instruction.

My works have hung in large and intimate galleries. I also work on commissioned pieces. My smaller works and prints are available for purchase.

I have been exploring needle crafts since I was 8 years old: embroidery samplers, latch hook kits, dress making patterns. My first job, at age 14, was making needlepoint samples which were photographed for a commercial kit-making company.

At FIT, I explored pattern making and then designed/constructed costumes for indie films. Later I delved into quilting my original designs with hand-dyed fabrics. Recently, I taught myself crocheting and rug hooking.

My ultimate needlecraft, however, is being an Acupuncturist. (ACU17901.com)
