Kids Fiber Art Workshop
This workshop is designed for 7 to 12 year olds, although younger children can be accommodated if accompanied by an adult. Kids pick one of up to 10 designs, created by Cheryl, and make their own fiber art version of it. Skills exercised in this workshop are precision tracing, precision cutting, color balance and composition. Each child takes their matted masterpiece home with them along with a set of art postcards. Two and a half-hour workshop, one volunteer assistant is required for every five children in the class. Maximum class size, about 20. This workshop can be modified for classroom use. All materials are provided for a great deal of fun.
