I attempt to infuse what nature generously provides into all of my art quilt designs. Through my work I hope to send the message of admiration, appreciation,and respect for our natural resources and cultures around the world. I use mixed media embellishments to enhance the visual and textural components in my work. Creating art quilts allows me to come full circle with who I am as an artist. To fulfill my artistic goals, I strive to emotionally connect with my pieces. Having my audience share in this connection validates my success as an artist.
