Wen Redmond Strafford, NH 03884 US wenredmond@yahoo.com www.wenredmond.com New England artist, Wen Redmond explores her medium, fiber, focusing on experimentation and expanding its presentation. Her artistic work merges digital processes, photography, collage, media mix and surface design. Wen has created several signature Digital Fiber Techniques such as Holographic Images creating 3-D effects, Textured Photographs using molding paste and a unique Serendipity Collage Technique. She published two DVD workshops, available at Interweave Publishing. Her work and articles have been published, including an appearance on Quilting Arts TV, Quilting Arts DVD’s, 500 Art Quilts, 1000 Artisan Textiles, Cloth Paper, Scissors and more. Her work has been juried in many exhibits including, Quilt National, Art Quilt Elements, Quilts=Art=Quilts, Form not Function, National Fiber Directions, Niche finalist, 2008, 2010 and 2012 and Visions. |
