This quilt is a photo transferred piece from an original photo that I took when visiting a winery in Missouri. I then used a variety of threads to free-motion quilt the piece to enhance the butterfly and the lilacs. All the work was done on a domestic sewing machine. Lilacs are my favorite flowers and the contrast of the butterfly is dynamic. I smile and think of Spring when I see it. Collection of Lisa C Graham
