After a trip to Bangkok, I wanted to create a quilt that combines the modern and ancient aspects of the city. I used a meander tiling pattern to create a cutout in Photoshop in order to combine two of my photos. The "background" photo of the modern city contrasts with the "foreground" photo of a golden temple wall with two Thai demon statues.

Materials: Digitally printed polyester whole cloth top, polyester batting, cotton canvas backing, and cotton thread.

Techniques: The image was created using Photoshop, and was digitally printed on polyester cloth. Machine quilted.
