I had a beautiful piece of debossed velveteen that I was saving for the perfect project. Then I spilled indigo dye on my tabletop, and unbeknownst to me it ran down into the container with the velveteen. Weeks later I opened the container and there was my fabric with a most interesting indigo design created by happenstance. In creating Out of the Blue, I took advantage of the organically created pattern and built upon it. |
