In this piece I am enjoying a limited color palette, exploring the depth and interest that value, saturation, and tonal changes can create. What is the difference between flat and glowing colors? Aside from the changing value, is there more than just a tonal difference? Do some colors have an inherent shine to them while others don’t? I hope that viewers can see how some colors seem to come forward, drawing attention, while others are happy to stay back like a shadow. |
