My pieces speak to one another as abstract works based on nature. Along with cotton, I use fabrics with a high luster such as satin and/or organza so that the reflection adds dimension to my artwork. My use of thread painting accentuates the negative space and adds texture. 31 x 44 Machine applique and machine quilting. Commercial cottons, some hand dyes and satin. |
