I am inspired by color first, and my palette is vibrant saturated colors that include batiks, hand-dyes and joyful conversational prints. I am exploring the use of texture and my love for the sunshine and tropics with the use of whimsy whether in pictorials or abstract design. I hope that my energetic and exuberant designs engage the viewer to take a closer look and smile. 34 x 45 Raw edged strips, stitched, pieced and machine quilted. 100% cotton: batiks and commercial. |
