This quilt is inspired by a photo I took below the pier at Cocoa Beach, Florida. The scene captures the force of the water, which can move and tilt the concrete pylons, weather the wood, and rust the bolts created by man. At the same time, the water provides a beautiful reflection of the rising sun and shadows, creating a restful scene.
