The coarse textures of buckram and cheesecloth perfectly depict the complexity of mature faces. While society reveres the flawless complexion of youth, the thoughtful viewer will detect far greater beauty in the lines and creases that develop in our faces over time, signifying wisdom gained during a life fully lived.
