Plight of the Monarchs

Every autumn, monarch butterflies migrate from the U.S. to Mexico where they hibernate in trees for the winter. They make the flight back every spring. In both seasons, hundreds of thousands of monarch butterflies fill the sky and land in my back yard for a rest and meal, beckoning me to enjoy their beauty.
