◄ ► The Weather In Her Head • Linda Colsh |
The weather in her head is as changeable as a day in Belgium. The woman is out in a thin sweater and bedroom slippers, seemingly unaware of the cold and the icy cobblestones. She crosses the street, oblivious to the winter weather. Inspired by a quote from Stephen Fry, “Depression just is, like the weather,” I imagine her to be dealing not with the frigid night, but with the weather in her head. The few others who are out don’t see her, or at least pretend not to notice. That way, they absolve themselves of responsibility. |
