Most corners of my life are filled with an abundance of things – books, journals, art supplies, fabrics, computers, tools, projects (finished and unfinished) – but I take delight in simplifying life when I can. This alcove is where light hits the simple architectural lines of my bedroom dormer – where I begin and end each day. It is quite literally my individual peaceful corner of the world, before and after the complications of a 21st century day. |
