This quilt was the result of fall days experimenting with oak and elm leaves that had fallen around my yard. I created the background of cotton fabric using transparent textile paints used to make sun prints of the leaves. I also created appliquéd leaves cut out of batik fabrics. Fancy buttons and ribbon completed the fall composition. |
