This quilt is made from leftover shot cottons from recent projects. It's improvised with scraps sewn to the surface as it's been quilted. The textile industry is the second most polluting on the planet – I think it's time we quilters looked at our role in this and start making better choices and use of our fabrics. Private Collection |
