Meet Your Representative Darci Read

I collect small things. I live for color. I enjoy my garden just as much as my studio. I was born too late. I am also a quilter and artist living in W. St. Paul, MN. 

I began quilting in 2010 in New York City and haven't stopped since. My travels have brought me to New York and the California Bay Area, now back to the Twin Cities where I started. I own a longarm quilting studio there and spend most of my days at the studio, creating art and stitching on my longarm for others. My own art ranges from small improv wall hangings to political statements to warm covers for beds. I love everything quilty and strongly believe that quilts are art, in all forms.
