I work from photoes which I manipulate to the desired expression. Using this "pattern" I cut fabric in various colours and sew it layer by layer. One single picture consists of 200-600 pieces of fabric. Nothing on my pictures is painted or dyed by myself. It can be a challenge to find the right colours but I think that's part of the fun!
