Who can pass by a peony bud about to burst open in the spring without notice? Or a majestic ginkgo in the park? Or a koi pond at the local museum? The many forms of natures that shift throughout the seasons bring us new reasons to stop, wonder, relax and refresh.

red sun

The red sun warms the meadow. I made this quilt by piecing and sewing thin strips of cotton fabric through the cotton batting onto the back and then intensely quilting on top of the work. I then hand finish the quilt. All work done by me on my vintage Singer sewing machine.
