Eye to Eye
On our river trip in Namibia, we saw 4 male lions on the shore looking eye to eye with us in our boat. The senior male was a bit away from the others, and I captured his image and then transferred it to fabric, and then did extensive trapunto and machine embroidery to show his hair among the grasses where he sat.
